We are saddened to report that on Monday June 20th Mike Mettenet, NTPT's US sales manager for the last two years, passed away at his home in Sandy, Utah, following his battle with cancer.
Mike was a well-known and popular figure in the US composites market. He started his career at Hercules, before moving to Hexcel, where he rose to the position of Global Sales, Market and Customer Service Manager. In 2006 he became Prepreg Sales and Marketing Director at Aldila, before establishing himself as an independent sales consultant in 2013. His final role involved working with North Thin Ply Technology where Mike helped build an effective customer base using his extensive network of contacts.
Mike made a hugely significant contribution to the composites industry and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to work with him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Mike's family and friends at this very sad time.
