North Thin Ply Technology (NTPT™) has drastically increased the production capacity for its multi- axial prepreg preforms since the new state-of-the-art Automated Tape Laying (ATL) machine has become operational this month. This technology makes it efficient to use thin prepreg plies down to 30gsm that offer improved composite strength and unique weight saving opportunities. The new ATL also allows processing more conventional UD tape up to 300gsm.
